Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Where to find two Shrines

Shrine in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

This guide explains where to find the two shrines at the start of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

After completing the Ukouh Shrine near the beginning of Tears of the Kingdom, Rauru tells you to travel to two more Shrines in different parts of Hyrule. However, there’s a catch – you must find them yourself. The open-world in Tears of the Kingdom is large and multi-levelled and this makes identifying specific landmarks particularly difficult.

Thankfully, there’s a trick for spotting Shrines. They all look relatively similar and emit a glowing green light that can be seen in the distance. Using the binoculars feature, it is possible to spot the two Shrines Rauru is referring to from Ukouh. However, if you’ve looked up this guide, you’re probably having trouble knowing where to look.

Let’s go over where to find the two Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

From the platform outside the Ukouh Shrine, you need to find and tag the two further shrines that Rauru tells you to visit.

This is where to find the two Shrines in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: The two Shrines after Ukouh are located on opposite sides of the Great Sky Island. One is located on the end of the peninsula in the south west. The other can be found to the south east. Refer to the maps below for the exact locations.

Once you have spotted them both from your viewing platform, be sure to pin them to make navigation as easy as possible.

The Shrines can be visited in any order, so it doesn’t matter which one you go to first. Reaching either one requires you to solve different problems before you get there. For instance, to get to the Shrine in the south-west you must build a raft and cross the large lake.
