It’s the time of year that every WWE fan looks forward to. The latest video game in the long-running pro wrestling series – WWE 2K23 – is just one day removed from its worldwide launch. Owners of the Icon and Deluxe Editions were granted three-day early access and received WWE 2K23 update 1.03 – a hotfix patch – late on 15 March.

WWE 2K23 is receiving strong reviews from critics who consider it a return to form for the series. It features over 200 superstars, as well as numerous returning and improved modes – including MyFACTION, Universe, MyGM, Showcase, and MyRISE – complete with new features.

Of course, the creation suite is also back with fresh additions and improvements. And players can enjoy online Royal Rumble matches and WarGames.

But it wouldn’t be a WWE game if there weren’t some bugs to iron out. Thankfully, things aren’t looking anywhere near as bad as they did in WWE 2K20.

The latest WWE 2K23 patch includes:

  • Polish and stability fixes for launch day.
  • Improvements to CAS part compatibility.
  • Improvements made to Superstars interacting with objects lying on the ground.

The latest WWE 2K23 hotfix is available on all platforms now. It’s a relatively small update, but should help improve player experience ahead of the game’s release.

Update download size

The small patch weighs in at 1.3 GB, so players shouldn’t have to free up much space on their consoles or wait too long for it to download.
