A Wonder Woman game from Warner Bros. Games and developer Monolith Productions appears to be in the works following a leak containing concept art and key story details.

The information was apparently leaked from an online marketing survey and screenshotted by its recipient. Unsurprisingly, the game’s artwork and synopsis are now doing the rounds on social media and Reddit.

The artwork shows the titular superhero fighting enemies and using the Lasso of Truth as well as various locations on her homeland of Themyscira.

As for the game’s story, it apparently focusses on the invasion of Themyscira by “the powerful sorceress Circe” who leads “an army of cyclopes, gorgons, and other monsters.” It will be “up to [the player], as the Champion of the Amazons, to return home to fight their treachery.”

In the game, players will be able to use their “godlike strength to deal shattering blows and tear through enemies”. A key part of the story will be repairing Wonder Woman’s relationship with her mother, Queen Hippolyta, and “fellow Amazons who feel betrayed by your decision to leave Themyscira many years ago.”

While details regarding its gameplay are limited, the synopsis confirms the game will include the Nemesis System that was previously featured in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and its sequel Shadow of War – both games were developed by Monolith Productions.

Supposedly, players will also “encounter iconic DC characters as well as a unique cast of procedurally generated allies and enemies.” The Nemesis System will allow these characters to “remember your choices and actions, and react according to their own beliefs.”

No release date has been confirmed and the game hasn’t been officially announced, so take the leak with a pinch of salt for now. If the game is real, it is apparently set for release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. The marketing survey also noted a price of £69.99 and PEGI rating of 12.
