It seems like only yesterday that hype was ramping up for Season 4 of Call of Duty Modern Warfare II & Warzone. But Season 5 is right around the corner. It officially begins on 2nd August and, according to official key art, will see the arrival of three enigmatic operators. So, who are the new operators in Call of Duty MW2 & Warzone Season 5?

Activision unveiled key art for Season 5 via the Call of Duty Twitter account on 26th July. This indicates the reveal of the upcoming season’s roadmap is imminent. Judging from the key art, it also appears fans can expect the addition of a brand new weapon resembling the FAMAS from Call of Duty: Black Ops.

That weapon aside, very little is known about Season 5 and what else it will include. However, rumours suggest the reveal of Call of Duty 2023 (reportedly titled Modern Warfare III) will be part of it.

Until the next game is officially announced, all eyes remain on Modern Warfare II. With that in mind, let’s take a look at who the new operators are in Call of Duty MW2 & Warzone Season 5.

Who are the new operators in CoD MW2 Season 5?

The new operators in Call of Duty MW2 & Warzone Season 5 are Graves, Oz, and Mila.

They can be seen from left to right in the official key art for the new season.

Very little is known about Oz and Mila. However, they appear to be part of Shadow Company.

Most noticeable is Graves (CEO of Shadow Company). He was one of the main antagonists in Modern Warfare II‘s campaign. After turning on Task Force 141 and Los Vaqueros, Graves was presumed dead after attempting to kill Soap using a tank. Soap destroyed the tank, killing Graves in the process (or so we thought).

However, it appears Graves will make his shock return in Season 5. Hopefully, we will get some answers about how he survived the tank explosion and what his motives are now he’s back.

Exactly how all three of the new operators will fit into the wider story of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II & Warzone is unclear. Although, we won’t have to wait long to find out.
