Call of Duty is in a bad place right now. The franchise’s currently supported crop of games are struggling with various technical, performance, and graphical issues. But Call of Duty: Warzone is perhaps in the worst state of them all. Warzone Pacific launched last month and introduced the tropical Caldera map. And while it’s widely agreed that Caldera is a good map, there’s no question that its arrival brought countless problems with it. Now a new error has arisen – “WHITELIST FAILURE!” You’re probably wondering what that is. So, here’s what we know about the Whitelist Failure error in Call of Duty: Warzone and how to fix Whitelist Failure.

What is WHITELIST FAILURE in Call of Duty: Warzone?

Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific just received its mid-season update. With that came some much-needed fixes, various weapon buffs and nerfs, a new SMG and operator, and more. But it also seems to have triggered a brand new bug which causes an on-screen pop-up in the Warzone menus reporting a “Whitelist Failure”. According to @charlieINTEL on Twitter, all players must be whitelisted so they can join servers. That suggests players’ IP addresses have been inadvertently banned, thus preventing them from joining games and triggering this annoying error. In case you haven’t seen it yet (lucky you), this is what it looks like:

How to fix WHITELIST FAILURE in Call of Duty: Warzone

Now you know what it is, you need to know how to fix it. And thankfully it isn’t too tricky. Supposedly, the best way to fix Warzone Whitelist Failure error is to restart your system until it stops popping up. However, it might take a few tries and some users are still reporting the problem after countless restarts. But if you stick with it, hopefully the Whitelist Failure Warzone error will disappear after a while.

Obviously, an official fix would be ideal. But so far Raven have been silent on the issue – although they’re likely already working to get it sorted. Fingers crossed they have something to share about the problem soon.
