This Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 guide explains where to find Encrypted Hard Drives in DMZ.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0‘s fourth season is now well underway. Alongside the introduction of the much-praised Vondel map, Season 04 made significant changes to Warzone and its DMZ extraction mode. Item values and their drop rates were adjusted and countless new faction missions were introduced.

This has meant players have had to relearn where to find certain items in DMZ. One such item is the Encrypted Hard Drive. While these have always been valuable, they now appear in DMZ more frequently and are worth less money when sold.

However, Encrypted Hard Drives now have a greater role in DMZ’s faction missions. As a result, they are more highly sought after than in previous seasons of Warzone.

So, if you need to find Encrypted Hard Drives in DMZ, where should you start looking?

Where to find Encrypted Hard Drives in DMZ

This is where to find Encrypted Hard Drives in DMZ:

Encrypted Hard Drives can be found inside computers in DMZ. Simply approach a computer and loot it to see if there is an Encrypted Hard Drive inside.

Search computers.

Computers are found in many buildings and rooms throughout DMZ’s four maps; Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, Vondel, and Building 21.

While it’s well worth searching various office and administrative buildings for computers, you are most likely to find an Encrypted Hard Drive on the Vondel map.

That’s because Vondel features apartment buildings that are being used as enemy hideouts. Inside are numerous computers, usually stacked on top of each other in small rooms.

Search apartment buildings in Vondel.

There are far more computers in these buildings than anywhere else in DMZ, so they offer the best opportunity of finding Encrypted Hard Drives when searched.

Sometimes, these apartment buildings may be Strongholds. So, be sure to take a Stronghold Keycard with you before you go searching for them.
