Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is one of the most competitive games out there. The battle royale version of the popular first-person shooter is a test of both endurance and skill. Getting a win is rare but also highly rewarding. Consequently, those who play the game regularly have been eager for a way to measure their performance against other squads. And they have been asking “when is Warzone ranked coming out?”
Ranked play wasn’t available in the original Warzone. With the shift over to Warzone 2.0, ranked play has been at the top of many player’s most wanted features list. The mode will add an even more intense level of competitiveness to the game because each and every action will have an impact on your squad’s overall rating.
So, when is Warzone Ranked coming out?
When is Warzone Ranked coming out?
Warzone Ranked Play is coming out on 10 May as part of the Season 3 Reloaded update. The update will go live at 1pm EST, 12pm CT, 10am PT, and 6pm BST. Ranked play will launch in beta to allow the new mode’s systems to bed in and for any bugs to be ironed out.
According to the official blog, Warzone Ranked will feature “competitive settings, a progressive rank system, a visual skill system, and seasonal rewards” for players to fight over in Al Mazrah and Ashika Island.
How does Ranked Play work in Warzone 2.0?
Warzone Ranked is based on a Skill Rating system that allocates a score based on player performance.
A player’s Skill Rating will place them and their squad in one of eight tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Crimson, Iridescent, and Top 250.
Players can improve their ranking by “winning matches, getting high placements, and earning eliminations”.
The ranking tiers and the required Skill Ratings are detailed in the table below:
Ranking Tier | Skill Rating |
Bronze | 0–899 SR |
Silver | 900–2,099 SR |
Gold | 2,100–3,599 SR |
Platinum | 3,600–5,399 SR |
Diamond | 5,400–7,499 SR |
Crimson | 7,500–9,999 SR |
Iridescent | 10,000 SR minimum |
Top 250 | 10,000+ SR* |
*Players with more than 10,000 SR qualify for the Iridescent tier; however, only the highest rated 250 players will enter the Top 250 division. At this level, players will appear on a public leaderboard.
Each Ranked match will require an SR entry fee and adjustments to your rating can be seen at the conclusion of each game and will be dependent on your performance.
