Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is almost here. Following the game’s successful and well-received multiplayer beta, anticipation is building for its release. Customers who pre-order MW3 can look forward to campaign early access, meaning they can experience the game’s single-player mode before everyone else. But when does the MW3 pre-load and campaign early access period begin?

The campaign takes place immediately after last year’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. Task Force 141 will return to hunt down terrorist Vladimir Makarov. Reactions to the mode’s trailer have been positive, with many praising its atmosphere, tone, and cinematic feel.

While Call of Duty multiplayer modes are often contentious, the majority of fans tend to enjoy the campaigns. In recent years, the campaigns for the Modern Warfare reboot and Black Ops Cold War received a particularly warm reception from players.

With that being said, fans are keen to see what Sledgehammer Games has in store for MW3 — and so are we.

When does MW3 pre-load start?

Pre-order customers will be able to pre-load the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III campaign on 1st November at 10am PT/5pm GMT/6pm CET across all platforms.

That means if you have already pre-loaded the campaign, you will be able to play it from that time.

It should be noted that Activision has warned access to the pre-load and campaign early access may vary depending on “possible outages and applicable time zone differences.”

Modern Warfare 3 full game pre-load times

The rest of MW3, including Multiplayer and Zombies modes, will be available to pre-load across all platforms on 8th November at 10am PT/5pm GMT/6pm CET.

The full game will go live as part of a “rolling launch”. This means it will become available to play at various times across the world from 9th-10th November.
