In a year packed full of blockbuster releases, smaller titles can be easily overlooked regardless of how good they. But new indie game Planet of Lana has made its way into the Steam top sellers list and it may have caught your attention as a result. Reviews for the game are “very positive” on Steam and critics have equally enjoyed it. But what is Planet of Lana

In this article, we will take you through everything you need to know about Planet of Lana, including its story, genre, gameplay, characters, release date, trailer, and more.

What is Planet of Lana?

Planet of Lana is a puzzle platformer set on a beautiful planet. It is about a young girl (main character Lana) on a rescue mission to save her older sister who has been kidnapped by mysterious robot invaders.

Its story is described as an epic sci-fi saga that takes players on an unforgettable journey throughout centuries and galaxies. Lana must discover hidden truths to end the disharmony and restore tranquillity to this colorful world.

She must also escape and avoid the machines (which have captured everyone on the planet, including the residents of her home village) while searching for her sister.

On her quest, Lana is accompanied by her loyal friend Mui. Mui is a small cat-like creature that acts as a companion and assists Lana with puzzle solving. It can also be used to cause distractions, help avoid detection, bite through objects, and more.

The focus of this cinematic puzzle adventure isn’t on fighting and killing. Instead, players must use stealth to evade the machines. Along the way, there are varied puzzles to solve and action sequences to survive. Players will encounter unfamiliar creatures and plenty of challenges to overcome.

Some critics and players have compared it to the hit 2010 puzzle platformer Limbo
