Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 and Modern Warfare 2 are about to receive their next big seasonal update. Season 3 looks set to deliver a huge overhaul for both games. And one key change has players asking what the new Warzone 2.0 Gulag is.

The Gulag is a central part of Warzone 2. In standard battle royale, players go to the Gulag after dying. They must fight for the chance to rejoin their squad.

Warzone 2.0‘s first Gulag has been controversial since its launch, with mixed feelings about its 2v2 fights and design.

So, what do we know about the new Gulag?

What is new Warzone 2.0 Gulag in Season 3?

The new Warzone 2.0 Season 3 Gulag is called Blacksite.

Blacksite is a 1v1 Gulag set in Al Mazrah. In an official Tactical Overview blog, Activision described the new Gulag’s design:

“Blacksite is a roughly rectangular, asymmetrical map with several interior spaces and long external routes, especially on the west portion of the map, where there is a large corridor that stretches between the two spawn areas. That area in particular is great for long-distance weaponry, if you have it in your Gulag Loadout; otherwise, it’s a clear path for equipment to be thrown down at the start of a duel.”
