Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0 Season 4 is right around the corner. It launches on 14th June 2023 and is packing lots of new content for CoD fans. Many players will be interested to learn what changes it introduces to DMZ. In addition to the new Vondel map, the popular extraction mode will receive Urgent Missions. But what are Urgent Missions in DMZ Season 4?

DMZ players already have in-game Contracts and many Faction Missions to complete. Contracts are brief mini-missions that require squads to complete specific tasks, such as rescuing a hostage, eliminating a high value target, or hunting an enemy squad.

Faction Missions are story-based missions that require players to complete a series of set objectives. In return, players can earn XP, keys, operator skins, weapon blueprints, and more.

So, with plenty of content to keep players busy in DMZ, what do Urgent Missions add to the mode?

What are Urgent Missions in DMZ Season 4?

Urgent Missions are a new type of Faction-requested tasks in DMZ, according to Activision.

They are quicker to complete than Faction Missions and contribute to the new ‘Faction Reputation’ system. This allows you to unlock insured slots, and the new out-of-game Wallet. It also enables you to expand the Contraband Stash, Key Stash, and Wallet Capacity, and unlock additional Story Missions.

Each Urgent Mission you complete grants you Faction Reputation. So, essentially, the more Urgent Missions you complete, the more Faction Reputation you will earn, and the more in-game bonuses you will unlock.

To make way for these additions and changes to DMZ, it is worth noting that the mode is due to receive a significant reset when Season 4 begins.
