Downtime Bros has discovered a previously unknown and highly effective wall glitch in Call of Duty: Warzone‘s Zaravan City region. The glitch allows players to walk through a specific building’s walls, where they can simultaneously hide and shoot at enemies outside.
In a recent play session in Call of Duty‘s popular battle royale game, we encountered a squad exploiting the glitch to gain a significant advantage.
When approaching the building in northern Zaravan City, we noticed bullets being fired from inside its walls to the outside. While surface penetration (also known as wallbanging) allows players to shoot through light cover, this was sustained gunfire with zero reduction in bullet velocity or damage.
As we entered the building, we saw an enemy squad passing through a wall beneath the ramp to the second floor and using it to avoid detection. With no way of knowing exactly where they were or how to reach them, we were quickly eliminated.
In a subsequent game, we revisited the same spot. We found that players are, in fact, able to walk through a wall in the inconspicuous Zaravan City building. Once inside the building’s glitched area, its walls disappear and you can see – and shoot – outside.
Players outside the glitch are unable to see any enemies hiding inside as the walls remain fully intact. As such, it presents a significant threat to any players unaware of its existence.
Where is the Zaravan City wall glitch in Warzone?
The Zaravan City wall glitch is located on the ground floor of an indoor car park at map coordinates D6 in the northern section of the region. You can see its exact location in the map screenshot below.
Once inside the car park, go to the rear of the building and find the ramp leading to the second floor. On the ground level, a wall runs alongside the ramp that is covered in pipes (as shown in the image below). To access the glitch, players can simply walk through this wall.
While the pipe-covered wall appears to be the only way in or out of the glitch, it is still a highly advantageous position. In theory, a squad could use it to camp undetected for an entire game. Depending on the positions of a match’s gas and circles, it could even be used to steal a victory.
Call of Duty: Warzone developer Raven Software does not appear to be aware of the issue and it is absent from their Warzone issues Trello board. It is currently unknown how long the Zaravan City wall glitch has existed and when it will be fixed.
