This guide explains what Bloodseeker grenades do in Call of Duty: Warzone The Haunting.
Call of Duty‘s long-awaited Halloween themed event – The Haunting – is finally here. The seasonal event has added a lot of new spooky content to Warzone for fans to sink their fangs into.
The main new feature introduced in The Haunting is Operation Nightmare. This twist on the standard Warzone battle royale mode plunges Al Mazrah into darkness and populates it with several terrifying anomalies for players to discover.
These anomalies come in the form of bosses such as the Butcher, the Pharaoh, and the UFO. However, there is also a bunch of new side content to go with Operation Nightmare.
The Bloodseeker grenade is one such new feature that players can find around the haunted version of Al Mazrah. As always happens, players are asking what Bloodseeker grenades do.
So, let’s take a look at what Bloodseeker grenades do in Warzone: The Haunting.
Bloodseeker grenades explained
This is what Bloodseeker grenades do in Warzone: The Haunting: The new vampire bat shaped grenade attaches to enemies and highlights them in thermal vision, similar to a Snapshot grenade.
The official description of the Bloodseeker grenade explains their function as follows:
Fashioned into the shape of a vampire bat by an unknown evil, this parasitic “living grenade” latches on to enemies and highlights them in thermal vision; this is particularly helpful (or harrowing) in the nighttime operations you’re undertaking! Unconfirmed reports state this oddity is unable to clamp on to Operators who are underwater.

These new grenades are particularly useful thanks to the nighttime setting of The Haunting and Operation Nightmare. The darkness makes enemy players particularly difficult to see, so having something that highlights them in thermal vision is really helpful.
Bloodseeker grenades can’t be equipped in your loadout – they need to be found in game. This makes them quite rare and valuable compared to other tactical equipment.
