Warzone DMZ Key: Captain Silver’s Briefcase Location

Players about to drop in in Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0

This guide explains where to find Captain Silver’s Briefcase location after getting the key in Warzone DMZ.

Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 is here at last. It has been a bumpy road for the latest CoD and its battle royale counterpart. But fans are hoping the start of a new season can help reinvigorate things.

Despite the rocky start for MW2 and Warzone 2, most players have been enjoying DMZ. DMZ is Call of Duty‘s take on survival looter-shooter Escape from Tarkov. The mode drops squads of up to three players into random locations around Al Mazrah (as well as newer, smaller maps Building 21 and Ashika Island).

The aim of the game is to collect as much valuable loot and weaponry as you can before extracting within the given time-limit.

One sure-fire way to get yourself some valuable loot is to make use of the many keys scattered around Al Mazrah, Ashika Island, and Building 21.

The keys unlock special loot caches that can range from individual lockers to rooms to entire points of interest.

However, when you get a key for the first time, the game doesn’t offer you any indication of where to find the cache that it unlocks. As a result, players are left asking what to do with Warzone DMZ keys.

To confuse things further, Season 2 has introduced new keys to the game which players won’t be familiar with.

One such key is Captain Silver’s Briefcase key. So, let’s go over where to find Captain Silver’s Briefcase location in Warzone DMZ…

Warzone DMZ Key: Captain Silver’s Briefcase Location

As mentioned, there are a lot of keys to collect in Warzone DMZ. But finding what they unlock isn’t easy.

The ones for specific points of interest come with a small icon that matches a location on the map. This makes them easier than the others.

However, the keys for smaller caches are left a mystery. And players have to hope they randomly stumble across them.

Thankfully, once you’ve discovered a cache for the first time, the game adds map coordinates to the key’s description. This makes it easy to find that specific cache again. But this doesn’t help you on your initial search.

This is where to find Captain Silver’s Briefcase in Warzone DMZ:

Captain Silver’s Briefcase is located east of the Sattiq Cave Complex map marker in the wreckage at the plane crash site. The plane is broken into three segments, and the briefcase is on the floor in the cockpit at the front. It can be found at map coordinates ‘D5’.

When approaching the area, be cautious as there are numerous Shadow Company and Al Qatala soldiers patrolling.

Some will be heavily armoured so may pose a significant threat in large numbers.

Before trying to find the briefcase, take out the soldiers to make things easier. Once they’re all dead, use the key to unlock the briefcase.
