This guide explains how to get a Stronghold keycard in DMZ.
Warzone 2.0 launched last month after a huge amount of speculation and anticipation. Players are now exploring Al Mazrah and getting to grips with everything it offers.
The revamped Call of Duty battle royale mode has changed the game in a number of ways by introducing new features such as the re-jigged looting system, the 2v2 gulag, and the split circle.
More subtle changes like reduced time-to-kill, aggressive AI, and the introduction of two and three plate armor vests have also mixed things up. Some love it, and others really don’t.
Still, one new feature that has received almost universal praise is the new DMZ game mode. And it’s proving to be a great alternative to the traditional battle royale mode.
DMZ is Call of Duty‘s take on survival looter-shooter Escape from Tarkov. And while Warzone players didn’t know what to make of it at first, it is picking up in popularity as the weeks go on.
While they also appear in traditional Warzone, Strongholds have an increased emphasis in DMZ.
Strongholds are areas filled with AI enemy soldiers and high value loot. As a result, getting in and out alive is no easy task. But if you manage it, you will find they contain a huge amount of valuable gear.
The first job is to actually get inside a Stronghole. And for that players need a Stronghold Keycard.
So, let’s go over how to get a Stronghold Keycard in DMZ…
How To Get Stronghold Keycard in DMZ
The key to a successful run in DMZ is to get as much valuable loot as possible. Strongholds are a sure-fire way of guaranteeing yourself some serious goodies.
But you can’t just walk up to one and make off with all its top-notch gear. Before you do that, you need to get yourself a Stronghold Keycard that allows you to unlock the door.
Thankfully, this isn’t too difficult and there are a few of methods players can make use of.
This is how to get a Stronghold Keycard in DMZ: Stronghold Keycards can be looted from dead AI enemy soldiers. They drop randomly, so you need to find and defeat as many enemies as you can if you want to find one.
Alternatively, Stronghold Keycards can be found in lockers, duffle bags, loot boxes, and other containers in DMZ. Again, this is random so there’s no guarantee of getting one. Luckily, they’re fairly common – so odds are you’ll find one if you loot enough.
The other option is to purchase a Stronghold Keycard from one of Al Mazrah’s many Buy Stations for $5000.
Once you have a Stronghold Keycard, you can head to any Stronghold and use it to get inside.
