This Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 guide explains how to change Active Duty Operator in DMZ.
DMZ has received lots of new content in Warzone 2.0 Season 3. While the mode has received plenty of fresh equipment, items, and missions, much of the focus has been on upgrading DMZ’s features.
One new addition to DMZ is Active Duty Operator slots. These essentially act as alternate operators for you to use in DMZ. That means players can have equipment, killstreaks, and more stored with separate operators, so you won’t lose all your gear if you die while in the Exclusion Zone.
However, players jumping into Season 3 for the first time may be trying to figure out how to change the Active Duty Operator. There are three available Operator slots, and Active Duty 1 is using a preset Rangers I Operator. When you try to change the Operator, you can only select from other Rangers I characters.
If you can’t work out what to do, check out the steps in the guide below.
How to change Active Duty Operator in Warzone DMZ
This is how to change Active Duty Operator in DMZ:
In the “Active Duty” tab, create a second Active Duty Operator by pressing X/A to “Swap”. Go to Active Duty 2 slot and press X/A to “Recruit Operator”. Go back to Active Duty 1 slot and press Triangle/Y to “Dismiss Operator”. You can now create a new Operator for Active Duty 1 slot.
Of course, you should not dismiss any Active Duty Operator that has valuable equipment you want to keep.
So, there you have it. Now you know what to do, it should make getting to grips with DMZ in Season 3 that bit easier.
