More than two and half years have passed since the launch of the original Call of Duty: Warzone. Millions of players have passed through Verdansk and Caldera, and thousands of hours have been spent fleeing the dreaded gas. But now Warzone 2.0 has arrived at last – and it has brought some big changes with it.
The revamped battle royale mode introduces a brand-new map. Gone are Verdansk and Caldera. Now fans can look forward to dropping in to Al Mazrah for the first time.
Al Mazrah is set to incorporate many of the locations from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II‘s multiplayer and campaign modes.
Warzone 2.0 will not only give players a new map to explore. It will also introduce a host of new gameplay features.
These include a new 2v2 Gulag, Circle Collapse, new vehicles, and a dedicated 3rd person playlist. On top of that, Warzone 2.0 also features the brand-new DMZ mode – Call of Duty‘s take on Escape from Tarkov.
DMZ drops players into Al Mazrah with the aim of procuring weapons and loot, completing contracts, and battling enemy operators and AI. Within a set time-limit, players must extract before encroaching radiation leaves them trapped inside the Exclusion Zone.
Like traditional Warzone, DMZ features squads that can be composed of existing friends or randoms via the squad-fill feature.

How Many Players in Warzone DMZ?
DMZ is made up of PvE and PvP combat. However, for the most part, you and your squad will be fighting hordes of AI enemies.
While PvE is usually considered to be much easier than PvP, Infinity Ward has been careful to ensure that the AI is sufficiently challenging. As a result, going in with less than a full squad can make things difficult.
This is how many players there in a Warzone DMZ squad: A DMZ squad is made up of three players. However, it is possible to play with less than three players if you would rather not play with random teammates.
Of course, going in with only two players does put you at a disadvantage – especially when you come up against a team of three.
That said, DMZ has a heavy emphasis on tactics. This makes it possible to do well in the game without having a full squad – provided you’re smart enough, that is.
