This guide explains where to find the Warzone DMZ Dead Drop locations.
Warzone 2.0 launched earlier this month after a huge amount of speculation and anticipation. Players are now getting stuck into Al Mazrah and are learning about everything it offers.
The revamped Call of Duty battle royale mode has changed the game in a number of ways by introducing new features such as the re-jigged looting system, the 2v2 gulag, and the split circle.
More subtle changes like reduced time-to-kill, aggressive AI, and the introduction of two and three plate armor vests have also mixed things up. And all these changes have resulted in a mixed reaction from players. Some love it, and others really don’t.
Still, one new feature that has received almost universal praise is the new DMZ game mode.
DMZ is Call of Duty‘s take on survival looter-shooter Escape from Tarkov. And while Warzone players didn’t know what to make of it at first, it is picking up in popularity as the weeks go on.
DMZ drops squads of up to three players into random locations around Al Mazrah. The aim of the game is to collect as much valuable loot and weaponry as you can before extracting within the given time-limit.
However, danger is high in DMZ. Al Mazrah is littered with highly aggressive AI soldiers as well as other players. If you die in DMZ, you lose everything you had with you. And that puts you at a big disadvantage for next time.
The use of ‘Dead Drops’ is a good way for players to make use of extra loot if they don’t want to risk losing it completely. However, there aren’t many of them throughout Al Mazrah. And that’s causing people to ask where to find the Warzone DMZ dead drop locations.
So, let’s go over where to find all the Warzone DMZ dead drop locations…
Where To Find Warzone DMZ Dead Drop Locations
As the title of this article explains, there are six dead drops across Al Mazrah. Each of them look exactly the same: a large white dumpster.
Unfortunately, they are few and far between. And it’s unlikely you will be in close proximity to one at any given time. As a result, if you want to make use of them, you’ll need to search them out.
The game doesn’t give you any indication where to find the dead drops. So, you’re left to discover them on your own.
But don’t worry! We’ve got you covered.
This is where to find all six Warzone DMZ dead drop locations:
1. Al Mazrah City Dead Drop
Al Mazrah City is the urban heart of the new Warzone and DMZ map. Like Verdansk’s downtown before it, Al Mazrah City is a hectic place fraught with danger.
Thankfully, it has its own special dead drop location for you to deposit any valuable loot.
The Al Mazrah City dead drop is located at coordinates ‘F3’ towards the south of the central island on the river.
The dead drop dumpster sits in an alleyway. The easiest way to get to it is to cross either of the bridges to the north or south and walk up the western side of the island.
2. Mawizeh Marshlands Dead Drop
Mawizeh Marshlands has a dead drop that’s almost directly south of the one in the city.
This Mawizeh Marshlands dead drop sits at coordinates ‘F4’ and it’s pretty easy to find – simply look for the radio/telecoms tower nearby.
To get to the dead drop, head south out of the city and aim for the gas station just before the bridge crossing the river.
On the western side of the gas station is a wall facing the telecoms tower. The dead drop is located along this wall.
3. Al Sharim Pass Dead Drop
Anyone who’s dropped in to DMZ a few times knows Al Sharim Pass is a deadly location. It’s full of enemy AI, so you need to be careful.
Al Sharim Pass is divided into two main clusters. The first has a UAV tower at its core. The second is to the south east next to the freeway road.
Al Sharim Pass’ dead drop can be found at coordinates ‘G6’ next to a yellow building between the two main clusters.
If you’re coming from the southern cluster, it sits in the north west. If you’re arriving from the north, aim for the south east.
4. Al Samman Cemetery Dead Drop
Al Samman Cemetery is another area that has a high enemy presence. It also offers clear lines of sight which is appealing to snipers.
The dead drop at Al Samman Cemetery lies amongst the cluster of buildings to the north east, just off the main road, at coordinates ‘E7’.
If you’re approaching from the east, come off the road and head along the dirt track towards the buildings. Take the second left turn and go behind the building on the left side of the road. The dead drop dumpster can be found there.
5. Sa’id City Shopping Center Dead Drop
The Sai’d City Shopping Center in the west of Al Mazrah is home to its own dead drop.
The Shopping Center dead drop is just outside the eastern side of the complex. It sits at coordinates ‘D6’.
The quickest way to reach this one is by taking a boat across the river and approaching from the east.
Be aware, there are a LOT of enemy AIs in this location and there is a serious lack of cover. Before you approach the dead drop, be sure to dispatch all the enemy AI as it’s easy to get overwhelmed here.
6. West of Rohan Oil Dead Drop
The final dead drop is the only one that’s outside of a main point of interest. It is amongst the cluster of buildings to the west of Rohan Oil.
Approaching from the oil refinery, head down the road to the south west. The dead drop is located at coordinates ‘C3’ between the two white buildings next to the rail track.
Once again, this location has a heavy enemy AI presence. The dead drop dumpster is quite open, so make sure you get rid of any enemies before you use it.

And that completes our list of where to find the Warzone DMZ dead drop locations. You should now be able to find all six while you’re exploring Al Mazrah.
