This guide details all the Weapon Case rewards in the Call of Duty: Warzone Battle Royale Preview mode.

Battle Royale Preview is a brand new game mode that Activision has added to Call of Duty: Warzone.

It is there to allow CoD players the chance to try out new Warzone features without them impacting standard battle royale.

Furthermore, it enables developer Raven Software to gather data and feedback on the new features before deciding whether to full implement them.

The new mode is available to play now, and it currently includes two unique features that are being tested and previewed. They are Covert Exfil and the Weapon Case.

Of course, players want to know more about what these features do and how they work.

We’ve now played Battle Royale Preview and experienced both new features for ourselves. So, allow us to explain how the Weapon Case works and what rewards players will receive for extracting it.

What is the Weapon Case in Warzone?

The Weapon Case is a new feature currently being tested and previewed for Warzone in Battle Royale Preview. If a player successfully collects and extracts the Weapon Case, their squad will receive special rewards.

The Weapon Case appears on the map at the beginning of a match. It is hidden in a search area highlighted by an orange circle and case icon.

Players must find the case and collect it. Once it has been picked up, the player holding it will be marked on the map for everyone to see.

To successfully extract the Weapon Case, players must either successfully escape the map via Covert Exfil or win the match while holding the case.

The following rewards are given to players who successfully extract the case, as detailed by Activision:

  • 1st Weapon Case Reward
    • “After Party” Weapon Decal
    • 15-Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • 2nd Weapon Case Reward
    • “Person of Interest” Weapon Decal
    • 15-Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • 3rd Weapon Case Reward
    • “The Pursued” Weapon Decal
    • 15-Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • 4th Weapon Case Reward
    • “Behind the Mask” Weapon Sticker
    • 15-Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • 5th Weapon Case Reward
    • “Harrow” MTZ-762 Weapon Blueprint
    • 15-Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • 6th+ Weapon Case Reward (Repeating)
    • 15-Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • Hidden reward: Players must achieve a Battle Royale Victory while holding the case
    • “Mortem” Operator Skin

Overall, the rewards are fairly lacklustre and arguably not worth the stress of trying to secure the case.

However, with the Mortem operator skin being the most valuable reward, it makes sense to focus your efforts on securing a battle royale victory with the case rather than extracting it via exfil.
