Warzone 2.0: How To Change Ping Color

Squad in Call of Duty Warzone 2.0

This guide explains how to change ping color in Warzone 2.0.

More than two and half years have passed since the launch of the original Call of Duty: Warzone. Millions of players have passed through Verdansk and Caldera, and thousands of hours have been spent fleeing the dreaded gas. But now Warzone 2.0 has arrived at last – and it has brought some big changes with it.

The revamped battle royale mode introduces a brand-new map. Gone are Verdansk and Caldera. Now fans can look forward to dropping in to Al Mazrah for the first time.

Al Mazrah is set to incorporate many of the locations from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II‘s multiplayer and campaign modes.

Warzone 2.0 will not only give players a new map to explore. It will also introduce a host of new gameplay features.

These include a new 2v2 Gulag, Circle Collapse, new vehicles, and a dedicated 3rd person playlist. On top of that, Warzone 2.0 is also set to feature the brand-new DMZ mode – Call of Duty‘s take on Escape from Tarkov.

Warzone 2.0 is also making some more minor changes to the way things work in battle royale. Many of which players might not even notice for weeks to come.

However, one of the first things players will notice (or not, as the case may be), is the new-look pings in Warzone 2.0. Previously, they were highly noticeable. Your teammate pinged an enemy location and you know knew exactly where it was. But that’s not the case anymore.

Pings are white in Warzone 2.0 and players are complaining that they’re almost impossible to see.

Thankfully, there’s a way to customise your ping. So, let’s go over how to change ping colors in Warzone 2.0

How To Change Ping Colors in Warzone 2.0

The whole point of a ping system in video games is to highlight a point of interest.

In the original Warzone, pinging was used to tell teammates about enemies, items, vehicles, and more. And it’s the same in Warzone 2.0. Except, for some reason, Infinity Ward decided to change the way pings look. As a result, they’re now borderline invisible on certain backgrounds.

Thankfully, they have included a way to customise Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0‘s interface. And that includes the way pings look.
