Before players are able to customise the TAQ-V, they need to unlock it.
Most weapons in Modern Warfare 2 aren’t available from the start. And the TAQ-V is no different.
Thankfully, it doesn’t take too many hours of play to unlock it.
This is how to unlock the TAQ-56 in Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2: Players must rank up to level 19 to unlock the TAQ-56, and then progress the TAQ-56 to level 11 to unlock the TAQ-V.
Best TAQ-V Loadout Warzone 2
Once you have the TAQ-V, you need to start thinking about the best attachments to kit it out with.
The loadout detailed below focusses on buffing the TAQ-V’s already impressive damage output, range, and accuracy. It’s worth noting that in its default build the TAQ-V is better than the TAQ-56 in these areas. However, it does have a slower rate of fire and stronger recoil.

Barrel – 18″ Precision-6 Barrel
Optic – Aim OP-V4
Magazine – 50 Round Drum
Underbarrel – FTAC Ripper 56
This build makes use of the Aim OP-V4 optic that iz beneficial for Warzone‘s long-range engagements. However, that can easily be swapped out for a laser for enhanced ADS or High Velocity ammunition, if preferred.
