In the wake of the incredibly successful launch of Tekken 8, Point do Game, a TikTok creator and Tekken fan, has been recreating nostalgic fights from the series in real life.

Point do Game, who also makes content about Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, replicates the fights and animations from Tekken with an unbelievable level of accuracy.

The creator puts the original game footage alongside the real life remake to emphasise just how close they are.

In one video that received more than 400k views, two people remake a match-up between two versions of Forest Law from Tekken 3. Everything including grabs, flips, punches, and even the win animation are recreated with significant attention to detail. Attacks even line-up perfectly with the game audio.

Another clip sees the creator perform moves from Eddy Gordo, a popular Tekken fighter who uses capoeira. Anyone familiar with Eddy or capoeira will know how impressive and flashy these moves are.

In another particularly funny video, Point do Game recreates a fight between two Gon characters. Gon is a small dinosaur character from Tekken 3. As a result, the real life fighters don suits and crouch down to accurately mimic the tiny dino’s moves.

Tekken 8 launched on 26 January and has received critical claim. In our review, we rated it 10/10 and called it “pinnacle of the series”.
