This Password Game guide explains how to solve Rule 20.
The Password Game is a free-to-play puzzle game. Its premise is simple – create a password that matches criteria set out by the game’s rules. Sounds pretty straightforward, right? Wrong. The game’s rules become increasingly difficult as you progress, with some requiring significant time and thought to solve.
This has made the game popular among speedrunners. And while the experience will undoubtedly appeal to those who enjoy tough puzzles, it can be incredibly frustrating and challenging.
As you work your way through The Password Game‘s evermore difficult rules, your password will become longer and more complex.
Rule 20 risks undoing all your hard work as your password goes up in flames – literally. Rule 20 reads as follows: “Oh no! Your password is on fire. Quick, put it out!” Before you have chance to make sense of the rule, flame emojis rapidly engulf your password. Essentially, this erases all the work you’ve done.
So, how do you solve Rule 20 in The Password Game?
How to solve Rule 20 in The Password Game
This is how to solve Rule 20 in The Password Game:
To solve Rule 20, you must quickly delete the flame emojis as soon as they appear. This is the only way to put out the fire. If you do not act quickly enough, your entire password will be destroyed and you will be forced to start again.
By this stage in the game, Paul the Egg will be included in your password. You must protect Paul from the flames otherwise it will be game over once they reach him.
You should also note that Rule 20 begins immediately following the completion of Rule 19. Therefore, it’s best to be prepared to immediately put out the fire otherwise it will catch you off guard.
This is not the only rule that can result in game over. So, be ready to solve unexpected and sudden problems the further you progress though the game.
