The quickest way to solve Rule 16 is to use Next Chess Move. By using Next Chess Move, you can simulate the game of chess and it will tell you the next best move in algebraic notation.

To do this, rearrange the pieces on the board to match the board in The Password Game. You may also need to switch the active colour.

Once the board in Next Chess Move matches The Password Game, select “Calculate Next Move”. This will generate the correct algebraic chess notation. Paste this into your password and Rule 16 will be complete.
