This Tekken 8 guide explains how to practice with tips on in Replays & Tips (“This one’s in the bag!” trophy).

Tekken 8 is an absolute treat for long-time fans of the legendary fighting game series. It improves on previous instalments in just about every way, and delivers pretty much everything fans could want.

It also offers a surprisingly easy platinum trophy on PS5. However, that doesn’t mean every trophy is straightforward.

Some require the player to complete specific objectives which aren’t self-explanatory. One example of this is the “This one’s in the bag!” trophy.

This bronze trophy involves the new (and highly impressive) tips and practice features. But it isn’t as simple as just jumping into the Practice or My Replays & Tips modes – there are some specific things you have to do to earn the trophy.

We’ve unlocked the trophy for ourselves, so allow us to explain how to practice with the tips on in Tekken 8

How to practice with the tips on in Tekken 8

Select “My Replays & Tips” in the Main Menu under “Replay”. Choose a fight you’d like to replay and select “Play Replay”.

As you watch the replay, pause it when you make a mistake in the fight. A tip will appear at the top of the screen (if there is one available).

Train option in the Tekken 8 Replay & Tips mode.
Press X to “Train”.

Press X to “Train” using the tip. Complete the recommended tip in the Train screen – this will unlock the “This one’s in the bag!” trophy.

Execute the recommended tip in the Train screen in Tekken 8.
Execute the recommended tip.

And there you have it – that’s how to practice with the tips on in Tekken 8.
