Tekken 8: How to perform a Wall Bound

A fight in Tekken 8.

This Tekken 8 guide explains how to perform a Wall Bound (“Sorry for getting rough back there” trophy).

Tekken 8 is the latest instalment in the long-running fighting game series and arguably the best of them all.

It also offers a surprisingly easy platinum trophy for PS5 owners. Most of the trophies can be unlocked simply by playing the game.

However, some aren’t quite so straightforward and require some thought. One trophy like this is “Sorry for getting rough back there”, which asks players to perform a Wall Bound.

This is a special type of environmental move that isn’t possible on every stage.

We’ve now earned it for ourselves and have discovered that unlocking this trophy can be easily paired with the “How do you take your coffee?” trophy.

That trophy requires players to reach the lowest area of the Ortiz Farm stage. So, allow us to explain how to perform a Wall Bound while also reaching the lowest area of Ortiz Farm.

We strongly recommend reaching the lowest area of Ortiz Farm first. This will unlock the “How do you take your coffee?” trophy. Once you have done this, you can easily perform a Wall Bound.

To do a Wall Bound, simply smash your opponent into the walls surrounding the stage. This will trigger an environmental effect involving spirits, dealing damage to your opponent.

This will immediately unlock the “Sorry for getting rough back there” trophy and you can exit the match if you wish.
