This Stray guide explains what the creatures with glowing eyes are.

Stray is finally here after months of anticipation. And it hasn’t disappointed.

The new game from BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive delivers a puzzle packed adventure where you control a cat on his mission to reunite with his family.

He joins up with robot drone B-12 and the two must work together to open a sealed city and save its robot inhabitants.

Stray offers everything you could want from a game where you play as a cat. Run, jump, scratch – it’s all here. And it’s great fun.

The cat’s adventure in Stray involves meeting an interesting range of characters. But not all of them are friendly.

One such enemy are the ones with glowing eyes that you encounter early in the game.

Let’s take a look at what those things are in Stray

What Are The Things With Glowing Eyes in Stray

You first encounter the creatures with glowing eyes in the Dead City chapter of Stray.

They swarm in vast numbers and chase the cat. To avoid them, the cat needs to use speed and agility.

So, what are the things with glowing eyes in Stray? The small creatures with glowing eyes are Zurks. Zurks are small enemies that the cat needs to avoid. They are like real-life Ticks which attach to animals and drink their blood. If enough get on the cat, they will kill it and you will need to restart from the last checkpoint.

Beware, Zurks are seriously dangerous in numbers. If too many of them get onto the cat, they are impossible to shake off and the cat will die.
