Silent Hill: The Short Message, the first entry in the series since 2014’s P.T., debuted on 31 January after a surprise announcement at the PlayStation State of Play.
The game, which is free-to-play on PS5, is a short Silent Hill title that follows a girl, Anita, as she searches for her missing friend, Maya.
Transported inside an apartment complex known as the Villa, Anita finds herself trapped inside a repeating loop of corridors and rooms while being chased by a malevolent cherry blossom monster.
The Short Message takes place over three chapters, each being a loop of the Villa. During one of the loops, Anita is transported to her high school in search of a book, and a letter letter inside it, that Maya gave her.
During this section, the first place she visits is the school library where she must find the book.

From the door you come in through, turn to the right and go to the bookshelf in the back left corner.
Here, Anita will find that the second volume in a six volume collection of “I Still Wait for You” is missing.
Next, you must go back through the door you just came through. This will take you to a corridor that is lined with lockers (you came here earlier).
This time, look for Amelie’s locker – it is about half way up the second bank of lockers, after the desk in the middle of the corridor. The book is inside.
Finally, look for Anita’s locker which contains the letter. It can be found in the same bank of lockers and is directly in line with desk in the middle. However, Anita’s locker is locked. Check out our guide for the locker code.
