This Rust guide explains how to get cloth.

Rust has been around for several years. It first arrived in Early Access back in 2013 before receiving its full release in 2017.

Despite its age, Rust continues to regularly feature in Steam’s best sellers and most popular games charts. That’s because it’s still attracting new players even after all this time – and it’s easy to see why.

Rust‘s concept is quite appealing. It is a multiplayer-only survival game with a strong emphasis on a realistically punishing grind.

You start out with nothing and must survive for as long as you can by crafting tools and weapons, building a base, and raiding other players. It’s the ultimate endurance test.

However, getting started in Rust isn’t easy. Not only is it full of other more advanced players, but the game does very little hand holding. There’s no tutorial. And that means new players will struggle to understand even the basics of the game.

In the early game, it’s essential to get raw materials and resources as quickly as you can. But exactly how you do that isn’t immediately clear.

One of the first things you need to get is Cloth. It’s essential for making clothes, Sleeping Bags and more. Without having a Sleeping Bag, you have no respawn point. And that makes Rust significantly harder.

So, let’s go over how to get Cloth in Rust

How To Get Cloth in Rust

It isn’t as obvious how to get Cloth as it is Wood and Stone. If you’re a complete noob, you probably have no idea where to begin with it.

Luckily, Cloth is actually easier to find than it first seems. You just need to know what to look for.

This is how to get Cloth in Rust: To get Cloth, you need to collect Hemp Fibers from Hemp plants in open, grassy plains. Alternatively, killing and butchering wild animals will yield Cloth.

Hemp Fiber plants will give you 10 Cloth. The amount you get from animals varies with Bears dropping the most at 50.

And there you have it – you now know how to get Cloth in Rust.

Cloth is an essential crafting item in the game, so be sure to stock up on it as quickly as possible.

It’s also a good idea to keep resources locked away safely to ensure nobody steals it.
