Resident Evil 4: Where to find vipers (Viper Hunt)

A viper in Resident Evil 4

This guide explains where to find the vipers in Resident Evil 4.

Requests in Resident Evil 4 reward you with Spinels which can be traded with the Merchant for special items. However, they often involve completing a difficult or time-consuming task.

Viper Hunt requires you to find and kill three vipers (snakes). There are more than three in the game and that means you don’t have to travel to specific locations to complete the Request.

Even so, finding the vipers can be difficult. They blend in well with their surroundings and move quickly. Consequently, it is easier and quicker if you know where to look. The guide below explains where to find the vipers in Resident Evil 4.

Where To Find Vipers in Resident Evil 4

As mentioned, you aren’t restricted to the three locations below when it comes to finding vipers. They can be found around the village of Resident Evil 4. That said, you are guaranteed to find the snakes if you go to these locations.

This is where to find vipers in Resident Evil 4:

  • One in the Town Hall inside a box on the shelf near the front door.
  • Another is inside a box in the small hut to the south of the church on the way to the lake.
  • A third viper is located in the water at the south-east corner of the Fish Farm.

The map pictures below show exactly where the vipers are located.

Once you have all three vipers, return to the Merchant and he will reward you with 4 spinels. You can then sell the vipers for some extra cash.
