Requests are one of the common side missions in Resident Evil 4. Set by the mysterious Merchant, completing Requests rewards you with valuable Spinels. These can be traded for special items like weapon attachments and treasure maps.
One such request is “Egg Hunt”. To complete this side mission, you must find the Gold Chicken Egg.
As you will have noticed, the village in Resident Evil 4 is full of chickens. And those chickens lay eggs which you can collect and consume to replenish lost health. However, this special golden egg is rare and can only be found in one specific location.
Where To Find Gold Chicken Egg in Resident Evil 4 (Egg Hunt)
You are able to find the Gold Chicken Egg in Chapter 4. After you have defeated the lake monster, you are free to explore the lake and the surrounding area. Along the shoreline are numerous small docks where you can leave the boar and explore.
This is where to find the Gold Chicken Egg in Resident Evil 4: The special golden egg is located in the small area next to the dock on the lake’s eastern shore. It is on the floor in the far corner, next to the fence.
To get to the gold egg, simply travel across the lake to the dock on the east side. This area is home exclusively to chickens, so you don’t have to worry about Plagas infected villagers.
Once you have the egg, take it to the Merchant to receive your reward. Additionally, you can sell the egg for a nice financial bonus.
