This guide explains how to get Mendez’s False Eye in Resident Evil 4 remake.

Near the end of Chapter 6 – “The Checkpoint” – players must finally face off with village chief Father Bitores Mendez. Mendez is a colossal individual and a force to be reckoned with. Mendez gets even more terrifying when he transforms into a full-blown bio-mutant.

In this form, Mendez acts as one of Resident Evil 4‘s early bosses.

After a punishing battle with Leon inside a burning slaughterhouse, he is finally defeated and dies. Players may have noticed during earlier encounters with Mendez that he has a false eye. You might also have heard that it’s possible to get the eye.

But how exactly can you get your hands on it and what can it be used for?
