This guide explains how to escape the Ballroom in Resident Evil 4 remake.

Resident Evil 4 remake’s tenth chapter – “The Ballroom” – features new enemies and some challenging puzzles. A large portion of the chapter takes place in a dilapidated ballroom, where Leon must fight swarms of Novistadors while figuring out how to escape.

The Ballroom is a large and open space but its winding staircases and crumbling interior make it tricky to navigate.

So, how do you get out of the Ballroom?

How to escape the Ballroom in Resident Evil 4 remake

This is how to escape the Ballroom in Resident Evil 4 remake:

After entering the Ballroom from door on the north side, head down the stairs. Turn right at the bottom and loop round behind the stairs towards the ladder shown on the map.

Climb the ladder then run straight ahead to the end of the walkway. Pull the lever to raise the first part of the gate. Drop down off the walkway and onto the Ballroom floor.

Go straight ahead towards the other set of stairs. Run behind them and loop round so you can go up the stairs. Go left at the top of the stairs. Run to the end of the walkway and pull the lever to open the gate on the east side of the Ballroom. Drop down and run through it to escape.

For the duration of your escape, you will have to fight seemingly endless amounts of Novistadors. So, take your time and ensure you have killed them all before attempting to progress through the different stages of the Ballroom.
