Everyone knows that gamers can be super passionate about the video games they love. That often includes making incredible and elaborate fan art based on their favourite titles. Many gamers will know how beloved Red Dead Redemption II is. The 2018 video game tells the tragic story of outlaw Arthur Morgan in the dying days of the wild west. And one fan has created a weirdly awesome tribute to Red Dead Redemption II in the form of an Arthur Morgan rug.

Taking to Reddit to share their incredible creation, u/Low_University_639 wrote: “Made this Arthur Morgan rug, I think [sic] turned out ok”. Well, we think “ok” is an understatement. And other Red Dead Redemption fans agree.

The rug – which is based on the game’s iconic box art – inspired overwhelming praise from the r/reddeadredemption community. “Holy hell, that’s awesome”, wrote one Redditor. Another commented: “I wouldn’t even use it. I’d walk around it so it doesn’t get dirty. Great job!” u/Pickle_Afton felt the rug was worthy of even more praise than it got: “This deserves way more upvotes! This is so awesome!”

When a commenter asked how u/Low_University_639 made the rug, they explained “i used a tufting gun and a bunch of other stuff. Heaps of people have guides online if you want to try”.

The rug proved so popular, some fans actually asked about purchasing it. “Can i buy it?????”, commented u/that1german. u/LaunchesKayaks had a hilarious special request for the talented creator: “Can you make one of Micah that I can buy? I wanna use it as a doormat so I can step on his dumb face every day”.
