Sony has officially revealed the slate of free monthly games coming to PlayStation Plus in June 2024. As usual, the line-up features three titles.

The games will be made available on June 4th to all PlayStation Plus subscribers. They are as follows:

  • SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake
  • AEW Fight Forever
  • Streets of Rage 4

While not the most exciting offering, fans of SpongeBob, pro wrestling, and beat ’em ups will surely be pleased.

SpongeBob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake is a 3D platformer that was first released on last-gen consoles and PC in January 2023. It came to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in October and received a middling response from critics.

AEW Fight Forever is the debut pro wrestling video game from All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The company is the first promotion to challenge WWE’s wrestling dominance since the demise of World Championship Wrestling (WCW) in 2001.

Fight Forever was developed by former WWE game developer Yuke’s and released in June 2023. It mostly failed to impress critics, however it’s still a fun time if you’re after some outlandish pro wrestling action.

Streets of Rage 4 is the oldest game of the lot, having been released in 2020. It is also the most highly-rated out of June’s selection.

May 2024’s PlayStation Plus games are still available to download now and Sony has confirmed that EA FC 24 will be sticking around until June 18th.
