This Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 guide provides the location of the Phalanx dead drop at the University in the DMZ Vondel map.
Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 brought a plethora of exciting content to the game, offering a fresh experience for players. Notably, Vondel, a brand new map designed for Resurgence and DMZ game modes, took centre stage.
Enthusiastic players dived into the city of Vondel, exploring its features and receiving it with open arms (mostly). The map garnered positive feedback and introduced an array of engaging content for the DMZ mode.
As part of Season 4, DMZ has been further enriched by a number of notable enhancements in the form of Urgent Missions, the Forward Operating Base, and more.
Additionally, DMZ received plenty of new keys that unlock special locations and loot caches, ensuring players always have exciting discoveries to make.
Dead drops also return in Vondel. The Phalanx dead drop at the University stands out, as it plays a crucial role in the “Icebreaker” mission. “Icebreaker” is classified as a tier 2 mission for the Black Mous faction. It challenges players to recover the Letter of Introduction and a tracking device from the Vondel Zoo dead drop, before depositing the items in the Phalanx dead drop at the University.
But where is the dead drop at the University in Vondel?
Phalanx University dead drop location in DMZ Vondel map
This is where to find the Pahlanx dead drop at the University in the DMZ Vondel map:
The Phalanx University dead drop is located behind a gas station half way between the University campus and City Hall. It can be found at map coordinates F3 against the back wall of the gas station.
While the University and City Hall are both heavily populated with enemy soldiers, this middle area is a bit quieter. Therefore, the dead drop is fairly easy to reach without much trouble.
If you’re doing the “Icrebreaker” mission, deposit the Letter of Introduction and tracking device in the dead drop and the mission will be complete.
Otherwise, you can simply use it to deposit cash. This will reduce the cooldown time of your insured weapon slots.
