Six years after the release of the original OverwatchOverwatch 2 has arrived! Fans have been chomping at the bit to jump into the sequel to the hugely popular first person shooter.

The first Overwatch was incredibly successful. And with this new instalment, Blizzard is hoping to recapture the magic and make it bigger than ever.

You can get these in a couple of ways. One option is to use Coins, which are Overwatch 2‘s in-game currency.

However, it isn’t immediately clear how players can get their hands on them. So, let’s go over how to get coins in Overwatch 2

How To Get Coins in Overwatch 2

As with most in-game currencies there are a couple of ways to get Coins in Overwatch 2. It just depends whether you want to grind for them or not.

They can be used to purchase Overwatch 2 content like the Battle Pass, Hero skins, and game packs.

It’s important to point out that none of this stuff will actually make you any better at the game. It’s all aesthetic.

It’s worth mentioning that Weekly Challenges don’t offer many when compared to the price of items. For completing 4 you get 30 Coins. Complete 8 and you’ll earn yourself 20 of the golden goodies. And besting 11 challenges gets you a whopping 10 Coins.

Most bundles in the store cost upwards of 1000 Coins. So, if you’re interested in any of those, you might be best splashing the cash and purchasing them.
