MWZ: How to find the Mercenary Convoy (Interceptor)

A Convoy in the Modern Warfare Zombies.

This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Zombies (MWZ) guide explains how to find the Mercenary Convoy in the Interceptor mission.

Unfortunately, Modern Warfare III‘s campaign didn’t exactly live up to the hype. Thankfully, multiplayer and Zombies offer a fun time that most CoD fans will be happy with.

Repurposed from Warzone‘s DMZ mode, Zombies (or MWZ for short) provides an assortment of varied missions for players to complete. These further the mode’s storyline and grant players special rewards upon completion. Once such mission is “Interceptor”, which is a Tier 2 mission in Act I.

It requires players to destroy a Mercenary Convoy and collect a Stronghold Keycard dropped by the convoy. But finding the convoy isn’t as simple as it might sound. There is no map marker for the convoy and no indication of where it might appear.

So, where do you find the Mercenary Convoy in MWZ?

To find the Mercenary Convoy, drive around the map within the Medium Threat (orange) zone. Eventually, three armoured trucks will appear on the tac-map. Look for three red markers on the map indicating they are nearby.

Chase the convoy and intercept them. The three trucks will stop and a large group of soldiers will get out of the vehicles and attack you. Kill them all. One of the soldiers will drop the Stronghold Keycard. If you can’t see it, look closely on the ground around where you were fighting.

Once you have collected the keycard, the Interceptor mission will be complete.
