Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III has been with us for a few weeks and players have been getting stuck into the brand-new Zombies mode – MWZ.
This reimagined iteration of the beloved mode shifts Zombies into the DMZ format that was introduced in last year’s Modern Warfare II. Like DMZ, there is a lot for players to discover in MWZ including new features, easter eggs, items, bosses, and more.
One of the new features of MW3 Zombies are Harvester Orbs. These unique phenomena are part of the Act II mission “Reaper”, which tasks players with finding three.
However, many platers are asking “What are Harvester Orbs in MW3 Zombies?” So, allow us to explain.
What are Harvester Orbs in MW3 Zombies?
This is what Harvester Orbs are in MW3 Zombies (MWZ): Harvester Orbs are a type of supernatural phenomena that appear at numerous locations around Urzikstan. They appear as a floating black and purple ball.
When shot, Harvester Orbs drop Essence (currency) vials. What’s more, they can be destroyed for even more Essence and a special drop.
Harvester Orb locations in MW3 Zombies
As mentioned, Harvester Orbs can be found in a number of locations around the MW3 Zombies map.
To make things easy, these special orbs appear in the same locations in every game. However, they don’t spawn every time you visit one of these locations, so sometimes you need to come back later. Luckily, there’s a few locations to try so you should always be able to find one without too much difficulty.
The list below details five Harvester Locations in MW3 Zombies:
A Harvester Orb can be found inside the football stadium at map coordinates D5.
Another orb is located in the low difficulty area at coordinates G7.
A third orb can be found in Low Town at map coordinates G5.
In the high difficulty zone of Old Town, a Harvester Orb can be found at map coordinates E5.
A fifth orb appears next to the railway line at coordinates D4.
A sixth orb can be found at I3.
There is also a seventh orb at coordinates G8.
