MW3 Precious Cargo: Where to get the Ascender

An Ascend point in MW3.

This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (MW3) guide explains where to get the Ascender in the Precious Cargo mission.

Players who pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III were given access to its campaign on 2nd November. The early access period kicked off eight days ahead of the game’s full release. And CoD fans have been quick to get stuck into the action.

Once again, players control various members of Task Force 141 across the globe as they take on ultranationalist villain Vladimir Makarov and his forces. While CoD campaigns are well-known for their on-the-rails missions and jaw-dropping action set pieces, MW3 switches things up.

Instead, most of its campaign is made up of various “open combat” missions. Generally speaking, players can approach these missions however they like. That includes collecting weapons, field upgrades, equipment, and more. The first example of this in MW3 is Precious Cargo, where players control Farah Karim following an ambush.

The level features various ascend points. However, you can’t use them until you have acquired an Ascender. So, where do you get it? After completing the mission myself, I know exactly where to go. Check out the details below.

Where to get the Ascender in MW3 Precious Cargo mission

The Ascender in Precious Cargo is inside a building at centre of the map on top of a small crate. It can be found at map coordinates F5.

Take care when approaching the building as there are heavy patrols around it. Along with the Ascender, you can also find a weapon, ammunition, and a loadout crate inside the building. So, take this opportunity to resupply if you need to.

Once you have the Ascender, you can use it at any of the various ascend points on the map.
