This Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer Open Beta guide explains how to get two lethals.

It’s safe to say fans are pleased with how Modern Warfare 3‘s multiplayer is shaping up. After lots of big promises, it definitely seems that Sledgehammer Games has taken significant steps to undo the disappointing changes introduced in 2022’s game.

Movement is vastly improved and gunplay feels much tighter and refined. Other systems have also been tweaked or revamped, such as perks. In Modern Warfare 3, players don’t choose from individual perks. Instead, you must select different gloves, boots, gear, and vests for your soldier to wear.

These come with their own sets of perks, which aren’t clearly defined in the game. Therefore, it can be difficult at first glance to tell which perks you are benefitting from. In previous Call of Duty games, players had the option of using perks that granted two pieces of lethal equipment.

But in Modern Warfare 3, there doesn’t appear to be this option – until you do a little digging. After exploring the game’s loadout options, I’ve figured out what you need to do to get two lethals.

How to get two lethals in Modern Warfare 3 Open Beta

To get two lethals in the Modern Warfare 3 Open Beta, you must equip the Demolition Vest.

To do this, go into your custom loadout. Here you will see which vest you currently have equipped. Select it and choose the Demolition Vest. In the Modern Warfare 3 Open Beta, the Demolition Vest is unlocked at level 30.

The maximum level during the first weekend of the Open Beta is 20. Therefore, players must wait for the second Open Beta weekend to reach level 30 and unlock the Demolition Vest.
