This guide details the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta meta weapons and loadouts.
The launch of Modern Warfare 3 is coming up in November and Activision has given fans a chance to check out the game early with the Open Beta.
Reception to the MW3 beta has been positive so far with fans saying that the game is an improvement over last year’s Modern Warfare 2. This has been put down to the arcade-style movement mechanics which include the return of slide cancelling and bunny hopping.
After playing the game for several hours myself, I can say that I have enjoyed the MW3 beta so far and am excited for the full game to launch next month. However, as always, I’ve been testing out all the available weapons to identify which can be called the MW3 beta meta.
Meta weapons (which stands for most effective tactics available) give players the edge in games. Of course, everyone wants to maximise that kill/death ratio and the best way to do that is to make use of the meta weapons.
While the beta has only been out for a short time, these are the MW3 beta meta loadouts for the most popular weapons in the game.

Battle Rage MW3 Beta Meta
Aside from weapons, players can also make use of lethal and tactical equipment.
In Modern Warfare 3, Battle Rage has been shifted from the Field Upgrade category to the Tactical section. What’s more, it is incredibly overpowered compared to previous games.
After testing Battle Rage out for myself, I can say that it still gives you an undeniable edge in gunfights despite Sledgehammer stating that it has received a re-balancing.
Consequently, it is definitely worth running the Battle Rage tactical in the MW3 beta.
