Just before the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare III (MW3) Season 2, Activision confirmed that The Walking Dead‘s Michonne would be added as part of an operator bundle
Season 2 began on 7th February and has a zombie theme. It also features the long-awaited return of Fortune’s Keep in Resurgence, which includes some neat CoD Zombies-inspired easter eggs.
Sadly, MW3 Zombies (MWZ) has been left out in the cold in Season 2 and will be receiving minimal new content. But that doesn’t mean players can’t have fun in multiplayer and Warzone as part of CoD‘s The Walking Dead crossover.
With a Rick Grimes operator available as part of the Battle Pass, he’s a fairly common sight in-game. Therefore, you may be wondering when popular TWD character Michonne will make her debut.
So, what do we know about the Michonne operator and when will it be released in MW3 and Warzone?
Michonne operator release date
The Michonne operator in Call of Duty will be released towards the end of February 2024 as part of the “The Walking Dead: Fear the Living” event. It is scheduled to run from 28th February to 6th March.
The event coincides with the premiere of new The Walking Dead spin-off The Ones Who Live, starring Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes) and Danai Gurira (Michonne).
While the start and end dates for The Walking Dead crossover event have been announced, Activision has not confirmed a specific release date for Michonne’s operator bundle.
Price & Weapon Blueprints
Michonne’s bundle is officially called “Tracer Pack: The Walking Dead Michonne”.
It will include three weapon blueprints – the “Lone Survivor” assault rifle, “Walker Waster” sniper rifle, and “Killer Kodachis” blades.
Unfortunately, it appears you won’t be able to use Michonne’s sword if you purchase the operator bundle. However, she will have a finisher move called “Dead Cuts” that shows off her swordplay.
Also included will be a weapon charm, weapon sticker, and large decal.
The price of the Michonne operator bundle is also unconfirmed. However, Call of Duty players can reasonably expect it to cost 2,400 COD Points – the same price as the operator bundles released as part of the Dune and The Boys crossovers.
