This Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 guide explains how to complete Laswell’s Letter faction mission in DMZ.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0‘s fourth season made significant changes to DMZ. As part of these changes, mission progress was reset and players were forced to work their way back up the ranks with the game’s factions.
Season 04 also introduced the new Forward Operating Base, which is where DMZ’s faction missions are now housed. With this and the complete revamp of faction missions, Season 04 may feel like starting over from scratch.
If you’re making your way through Black Mous faction missions, you’ll soon unlock the new Tier 1 story mission – Laswell’s Letter.
This is a unique mission in DMZ as it requires you to do something new and specific. It asks you to “Read Laswell’s Letter in the notes menu and complete the requested task.”
But how do you read it and where is the notes menu? Allow us to explain.
How to read Laswell’s Letter in DMZ
From the DMZ lobby screen, select ‘Mission Objectives’. Scroll to the right and select ‘Notes’ at the end.
You should see “Laswell’s Letter” listed here. Select it and read the mission instructions, which are as follows:
“We have some important information we need relayed but our upload was interrupted.
Go to an upload station and at the top of a radio tower and resume the upload for us.”
Laswell in DMZ.
How to complete Laswell’s Letter mission in DMZ
To complete the mission, you must find a radio tower on any map and use the upload station. This works the same as the upload during a ‘Secure Intel’ contract.
For ease, we recommend heading to Ashika Island and using the radio tower at map coordinates D3 in the north west corner.
Because the map is so small, it shouldn’t take long to get there and there are minimal numbers of enemy soldiers in the area.
Simply climb the tower and use the upload station to begin the information upload. Wait for the upload to finish and the mission will be complete.
