This Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 guide explains how to unlock the MX Guardian shotgun in Season 4 Reloaded.
After rumblings that Season 4 Reloaded may be delayed, the latest mid-season update for Warzone 2.0 has now been announced. It features the much-rumoured crossover with Amazon’s hit series The Boys, which includes unique operators skins and a new Temp V field upgrade.
In addition to The Boys content, Season 4 Reloaded also features a new map and weapon. The weapon is a full-auto shotgun called the MX Guardian.
It is described by Activision as “highly versatile” and capable of delivering “devastating knockout blows”.
While the MX Guardian is undoubtedly an exciting proposition for players, it can’t be unlocked through conventional means. A new process has been introduced to unlock it involving the Battle Pass and challenges.
With that being said, what exactly do you need to do to get your hands on this powerful shotgun?
How to unlock MX Guardian
This is how to unlock the MX Guardian in Warzone Season 4 Reloaded:
The MX Guardian is unlocked by completing five challenges in the [CLASSIFIED] Battle Pass sector. The challenges (and associated unlockables) are as follows:
- Dependable Emblem: Get 10 ADS Operator Kills with Shotguns.
- Gunfire Calling Card: Get 10 Hipfire Operator Kills with Shotguns.
- Fanning Hutch Loading Screen: Get 10 Headshot Operator Kills with Shotguns.
- 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token: Get 10 One Shot Operator Kills with Shotguns.
- MX Guardian: Get 30 Point Black Operator Kills with Shotguns.
Once these challenges are complete, you will unlock the MX Guardian.
The [CLASSIFIED] sector can only be accessed by completing any of the following Battle Pass sectors: D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, or D7.
The sector will become available at the beginning of Season 4 Reloaded.
