How to unlock and play as Cody Rhodes in AEW Fight Forever

Cody Rhodes in AEW Fight Forever

This guide explains how to unlock and play as Cody Rhodes in AEW Fight Forever.

It has been a long wait but AEW Fight Forever is finally here. The new pro-wrestling game from the world’s number 2 promotion harkens back to the arcade style of wrestling games like WWF No Mercy and Smackdown! Here Comes The Pain while offering an alternative to the more simulation focussed WWE 2K series.

Reception to AEW Fight Forever has been somewhat mixed; however, AEW fans will no doubt be eagerly getting stuck into the game. It boasts a number of different match types – from the classic one-on-one to the infamous Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch – and various games modes to enjoy.

One of the most notable things about AEW Fight Forever is its roster – and not always for the right reasons. Unfortunately, it lacks some of the most popular wrestlers that regularly appear on AEW Dynamite, Rampage, and Collision. Still, many of the favourites are there and there even some hidden wrestlers that can be unlocked.

“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes is one such wrestler. Rhodes, one of AEW’s founders, left the company in 2022 for rival WWE. However, he is still included in the game.

So, let’s go over how to unlock and play as Cody Rhodes in AEW Fight Forever.
