Fans have now had a couple of weeks to get to grips with Horizon Forbidden West. And it’s shaping up to be one of this year’s biggest hits. It’s a deep game full of different things to do and collectibles to find. The relic ruins are one set of collectibles. And they’re also some of the most difficult puzzles in the game. That’s because getting into them requires some clever thinking thanks to their multiple stage design. The relic ruin at The Daunt is probably the first one you’ll come across in Horizon Forbidden West. And for that reason, it’s probably the most bewildering. Luckily, we’ve got you covered. Here’s how to get into The Daunt Relic Ruin in Horizon Forbidden West

How To Get Into The Daunt Relic Ruin in Horizon Forbidden West

The Daunt is one of the first areas you go to in Horizon Forbidden West. It’s huge and there’s a lot to discover. The Daunt Relic Ruin is located to the west Chainscrape. It’s an old house with a ruined school bus outside.

This is how to get into The Daunt Relic Ruin in Horizon Forbidden West. You are able to access the ruin from the left side (from facing front). In that area, use the crate to climb up to the locked door with the red light. Go onto the adjacent balcony and turn left. Run and jump across the gap. Turn left, drop down, then scan the datapoint right in front of you. Look up and to the left and use your Pullcaster to pull down the crate. Look the other way and use your Pullcaster to open the vent and again to pull down the metal beam. Drag the crate next to the beam and climb up. Jump to the vent, head through and drop down. Use the Pullcaster to pull down the wall on the other side.

Next, head underground, turn right and use the Pullcaster to pull down the ceiling. Then head back up and use the Pullcaster to pull the crate down into the hole you’ve just made. Now, go back down and drag the crate to the opposite wall and climb up onto the roof. Drop down to the balcony on the left and retrieve the key. Finally, go back to the locked door and use the key before entering the code 1705 as given in the “Your Red Permit Code” datapoint. At last, the locked door will open.
