Horizon Forbidden West is here at last. And fans seem to be loving it so far. Part of the reason for that is because of how deep and varied its gameplay is. As a result, there’s an incredible amount to learn. So, once you’ve gotten over how incredible Horizon Forbidden West looks, it’s time to get stuck into the game itself. With Forbidden West having such a big open world, you’re probably wondering if you can fast travel. Thankfully, you can. And there’s a couple of ways to do it. Unless you’re at a camp fire, you’ll need to use a Fast Travel Pack. Here’s how to get Fast Travel Packs in Horizon Forbidden West.

How To Get Fast Travel Packs In Horizon Forbidden West

As mentioned, Horizon Forbidden West is a massive game. Consequently, there’s a lot of ground to cover over the course of its story. Sometimes, you’ll need to go back on yourself. Of course, you can always walk/ride back to a previously discovered location – but that’s time consuming. So, fast travelling is the quickest choice.

There are two methods of fast travel in Horizon Forbidden West. You can do it for free from a camp fire, or you can use a Fast Travel Pack. The latter are consumable and will need to be replenished should you run out and wish to fast travel again.

This is how to get Fast Travel Packs in Horizon Forbidden West. Fast Travel Packs can be bought from traders for 25 metal shards. They can also be crafted. To craft, press left or right on the d-pad to navigate the Tools menu in the bottom left. Once you’ve found Fast Travel Pack (the bed roll icon), hold down on the d-pad. This brings up the crafting screen. You need 10 Ridge-Wood and 3 Wild Meat to craft 1 Fast Travel Pack. Finally, hold X to craft.

And there you have it. You should now be able to replenish your Fast Travel Packs as needed.
