Fans have now had a couple of weeks to get to grips with Horizon Forbidden West. And most are loving it. It’s a deep game full of different things to do and collectibles to find. The relic ruins contain some of the most valuable collectibles. And they’re also some of the most difficult puzzles in the game. That’s because getting into them requires some clever thinking thanks to their multiple stage design. Perhaps one of the most difficult is the No Man’s Land Relic Ruin. One section involves getting a powered up energy cell to a generator across a pool of water. The only problem is, every time it touches the water it loses power. Here’s how to get the energy cell across the water in the No Man’s Land Relic Ruin in Horizon Forbidden West

How To Get Energy Cell Across Water in Horizon Forbidden West – No Man’s Land Relic Ruin

As with all Relic Ruins, this one has a number of stages to it. To get to the room with the pool of water, you first need to find a way inside. Then you need to acquire an energy cell. Assuming you’ve done all that, you need to power it up. Luckily, that part is straight forward. In the large room with the pool of water in the middle, look for a machine unit with a battery symbol on it in the south corner. Place the energy cell in there to charge it. Once it’s got some juice, you need to get it across the water and into the generator.

This is how to get the energy cell across the water in Horizon Forbidden West No Man’s Land Relic Ruin. From the charging point, grapple up to the platform above. Head through the doorway on your right. Directly opposite there is a crate. Use your Pullcaster through the gap on the right to move it. Now run back out onto the platform to the other end and use your Pullcaster to pull the crate off the opposite platform. Next, drag the crate into the water and position it so it’s level with the floor next to the charging point in the south corner. Now take out the energy cell, stand just on top of the crate and press triangle to drop it. The energy cell should rest on top of the crate. Jump down into the water and drag the crate over to the other side and up the ramp.

Finally, take the energy cell off the crate and place it in the generator.
