Horizon Forbidden West is a massive game with a whole range of things to get stuck into. From quests to collectibles, there’s no shortage of activities for Aloy to undertake. One such quest is The Twilight Path. You get access to it pretty early on in Horizon Forbidden West. It’s started by talking to Petra in Chainscrape. She tells you about a Carja refugee camp up in the mountains that’s playing host to a downed Stormbird. Scavengers are after its valuable parts and it’s up to Aloy to help the refugees. To get to the Stormbird, you must climb a Signal Tower. It’s not the easiest climb in the game so might have you stumped. Here’s how to climb the tower to the Stormbird in Horizon Forbidden West…
How To Climb Tower To Stormbird in Horizon Forbidden West
Climbing the Signal Tower to the Stormbird is one on the final parts of The Twilight Path side quest. Before you do that, you have to climb the mountain to reach the Carja priest, Savohar. Once you’ve scaled the mountain and either snuck past or destroyed the nearby machines, you meet Savohar. Unfortunately, he’s mortally wounded. He tells you that the Stormbird is a sign and that he’s waiting for a vision. Aloy, not wanting to wait, decides to climb the tower and get to the Stormbird to salvage its parts and save the Carja refugees.
This is how to climb the tower to the Stormbird in Horizon Forbidden West. From Savohar, use your Pullcaster to grapple to the opposite cliff face. Climb right across the rock face until you reach a ledge directly below the tower. Climb up to the base of the tower, then jump across and grab the partially collapsed staircase before climbing up. Once at the top, turn right and up a set of stairs. You should now be directly under the Stormbird’s wing. Jump and climb up to the overhanging wooden platform, then scale the wall using the protruding bricks. Drop onto the next wooden platform and run round to the left. Climb the collapsed section of the wall to reach the Stormbird.
Once you’re at the Stormbird, you need to loot it for all its parts. Also, make sure you look next to the downed machine to find the Lens of Afternoon. This is a very rare collectable that can only be found at the top of this Signal Tower.
